Your gift to the Schaefer Musser Scholarship Fund supports those training for God’s call into ministry.

The Schaefer Musser Scholarship exists to encourage those called into ministry by sharing the financial burden of the ministry training needed to lead the kingdom building efforts of the church.

Created in the 1980’s by then Senior Pastor Musser and expanded by the estate gift of Henry Schaefer, the scholarship continues to serve the church at large through the generous continued contributions to the growth of the scholarship fund, surrounding ministry professionals with critical financial support.

Our Redeemer member Henry Schaefer leaves part of his estate to Our Redeemer. The funds are combined with the Musser fund to create the Schaefer Musser Scholarship Fund.

The fund surpasses 100 scholarships awarded to 38 individuals.

Schaefer Musser celebrates 30 Years with over 200 scholarships awarded to 69 church work students.

Pastor Musser establishes a small fund to support those entering the pastoral ministry.
The first scholarships are awarded for those entering pastoral and teaching ministry work.
Over $250,000 in scholarships awarded.

40 years after Pastor Musser…
25 alumni remain rostered serving 14 LCMS districts.
