RELATIONSHIPS

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

The Lord has given us the beautiful gift of prayer. With His gracious invitation, we come to Him with our thanks, praise, and petitions all the “time!”

No delay, buffering, or re-booting necessary.
No worthiness or merit on our part required.

What a beautiful gift!

As we move forward on this journey of stewardship for our mission station, we reflect on many things. We invite you to submit a prayer for our church, our community or our campaign team!

your discipleship makes a difference!

It’s Christ’s love that motivates us to share life in ways that people who don’t know Jesus are inspired to learn more about Him.

Now Is The Time To Commit

Be a part of something BOLD! Join us in prayerfully contributing physical and spiritual gifts.

CONGREGATION
FINALIZES
ITS PLAN

Join us this autumn as we discuss next steps for the building project!

Questions answered!

Did the voters approve the building plans?

Yes! And it’s exciting that thousands of volunteer hours of more than 150 people asked to pray over and contemplate how Christ can use our campus to support the ministry at Our Redeemer.

How was the proposed Master Plan decided upon?

Multiple master plan options were presented and scored by congregational members attending the Design Charrette meetings. The proposed and approved campus master plan was developed in accordance with that scoring and the written feedback received from the congregation.

Will the project be completed in phases?

Perhaps. It’s likely we’ll need several phases to complete the work. Considerations of multiple phases will be determined by the financial commitments and sacrifices of our church family.

How long will the project take?

To Be Determined. The building committee continues its work with our construction partners, exploring the timelines of the campus project. In the meantime, the focus of our church family is on the growth of our discipleship and prayerful reflection of our role in ministry at Our Redeemer.

Are the design images in the booklet final?

No. The renderings are concept images. As we move into the design phase, we will pray about ways this concept can be designed effectively in support of various ministry strategies.

Are the deferred maintenance costs additional to building costs?

Yes. Deferred maintenance to the campus has mounted over the past several decades. Additionally, ministry needs have grown. We now have the opportunity to strategically consider how best to support today’s ministry practices while repairing the campus.

Did the voters approve the financing?

Financing was not discussed during this vote. The vote approved the master plan, including the top priority of $7.5 million for Phase 1 renovation, while also addressing deferred maintenance. Additionally, the vote approved engaging the congregation in prayer and deep reflection of how Christ is calling our community to generously respond to the plans and funding needs.

Shouldn't we wait until we don't have a deficit budget?

Managing budget deficits at the expense of the campus is what causes deferred maintenance. Our general operating needs do require additional support and the encouragement is to pray earnestly about how Christ will use the generosity of our community to expand the ways we share life.

Won't this take money away from another ministry?

This campaign is not a shift in where our current funds are applied. We are seeking a deeper level of discipleship and commitment from our community in support of the master plan. Accomplishing this plan will increase our capacity to share Christ’s message of hope and love to people in our surrounding community.

What happens if we don’t raise all the funds?

While raising the funds to do this work would be exciting, not raising the funds only means that we come closer together, pray harder and talk longer about what our work in Christ is calling us to do.

What is the time period for my financial contribution?

The financial commitment made now will be contributed over the next three years.

Will my three-year campaign commitment be above and beyond my general giving?

Yes. Any commitment made should be considered as a prayerful additional commitment.

If my contribution feels small, should I even bother donating?

Yes! Your contribution, whether it is financial or prayerful and faithful involvement, is critical to our work. Raising financial resources is a key outcome of our work, but the overarching goal is to experience how Christ is integral in what we are doing.

Can we raise extra money (tithe?) during this campaign for missions?

A mission factor will be considered by the MMC for this campaign.

Will we change our service times after the Sanctuary is remodeled?

Service times will be considered following the construction phase.

Where will we worship during construction?

Most likely in our gym.
