SchoolTeacher BiographiesMrs. Sandy Schultz- 5 Year Kindergarten AM
Mrs. Sandy Schultz

Hi! My name is Sandy Schultz and I teach the 5K AM class. I graduated from Concordia College in Seward, NE, in 1979 with a bachelor of science in education and a social work/social science major. My husband, Rick, and I received our first calls to Michigan. I taught a 1st and 2nd grade combined class for 2 years and then taught 5 year old kindergarten.

After moving to Milwaukee, I took time off from teaching to raise my 4 children. I did home-based child care and substitute taught.  The pro-life movement became an important ministry for me and I served on the committee that founded A Place of Refuge. I enjoyed my time substitute teaching over the years because I learned about many different ideas and styles of teaching. I served at Emmaus Lutheran School in the inner city for two years before joining the staff at OR in 2004.  My family has belonged to Our Redeemer for 30 years.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my granddaughters and swimming.
