Heidi Reimer grew up right here at Our Redeemer Lutheran school. She attended Milwaukee Lutheran High School and Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated summa cum laude from Augustana with a double major in special education and elementary education. She received her master’s degree in special education from Cardinal Stritch University.
Heidi taught for a year in the Sioux Falls school district as a special education teacher and coach. When she moved back to Milwaukee, she then worked with the Lutheran Special School and Milwaukee Lutheran High School, teaching and coaching. She is currently teaching the 7th and 8th transitional math class and the Hands-on Algebra class for 3-5th graders here at OR.
Heidi has been married to Hank for 14 years and they have 4 children who attend OR. Her life outside of school is busy with children’s activities. Heidi enjoys reading, running, biking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
One of Heidi’s favorite Bible verses is Ps. 105:3-4
Glory in His holy Name, let the hearts of those who seek
