Welcome to Our Redeemer’s quality Child Care program!
If you have a child enrolled at ORLS, your child is eligible to attend Child Care. A couple of reminders for ALL families:
- · Child Care offered during school hours is now located in the old youth room, just off of the fellowship hall. Stop by and see the remodeling completed this summer. Before school care will still meet in the 5K room closest to the fellowship hall. After-school care begins in the cafeteria at 3:00 PM and remains there until 6:00 PM (or when the last child is picked up!)
- · To use Child Care, every family will register with the proper paperwork and a $50.00 family registration fee per year. We also ask you to give us a preliminary schedule of your child care needs. The approximation allows us to staff adequately.
- · Children may arrive after 6:30 AM and must be picked up by 6:00 PM. ($10 for every 15 minutes after 6 PM!)
- · A drink and snack are provided with after-school care when children arrive immediately after class dismissal. No snack will be served after 3:40 PM.
- · Children who are not picked up after school by 3:50 PM will be checked into Child Care until their parent arrives. NO exceptions will be made! Fees are assessed to the nearest half hour.
- · Child Care will be provided for many of the days off on the school calendar. Check with a child care worker as to sign-up ahead of time so that we can prepare for your child. We are closed over the holiday vacations, but open to serve your child for staff development days, parent-conference days, etc. You must pre-register for these dates or a drop in/drop out fee will apply.
- · Our Child Care program is financed as a PRE-PAYMENT program. Please keep a positive balance in your account at all times. All new payments should be received by Monday at which time accounts MUST carry a positive balance. If accounts are negative, a $5.00 late fee will be charged.
- · Please call Mrs. Kohlmeier at ext. 229 to check your account balance at any time or leave a message and she will respond as soon as possible.
