Our Redeemer One of Five U.S. Schools Awarded Exemplary Status;
Will Model "Best Practices" for Other Schools
Our Redeemer Lutheran School has achieved Exemplary Status for the 2010-2011 academic year, one of just five schools nationally to earn this recogniation from the National Lutheran School Accrediatation (NLSA) Commission. (click here to see us on Fox 6 news WISN)
The NLSA Team concluded that Our Redeemer exceeded the national standards for Exemplary School Status :
- Christ-centered and service driven
- Document an outstanding record of student preparation and academic success
- Perceived positively in their community
- Serving satisfied stakeholders
- Demonstrate innovative leadership through specific "best practices"
Our Redeemer joined two schools in California and one each in Indiana and North Carolina in achieving Exemplary Status. These five schools will be asked to share their "best practices" with other schools throughout the U.S.
