Kirsten graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with an elementary education degree. After graduating she took a teaching position at a Christian School in Cedarburg, teaching a combined sixth and seventh grade. Her second year at that school she taught first grade. From there she took a position teaching a combined lower grade class at a Lutheran school in West Allis. In 1995 Kirsten joined the staff at Our Redeemer Lutheran School. She taught second grade for four years before having children. After her oldest child was born she returned to ORLS to teach the 3 year old kindergarten class.
Kirsten is married to her husband Mark who attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School. She and her husband are blessed to have two children Hannah (8) and Matthew (6). They also have a bichon dog named Tally. In her free time Kirsten likes to scrapbook, and someday hopes to learn to cook. As a family the Willers like to go downhill skiing, and they like to travel to new places.
