Geography

We are starting our unit on Latin America! This is a great unit as many of our MOST Mission trips have been to Latin America countries. This unit starts with an overview of the geography, climates, and natural resources and moves on to the history.

PASSPORT PROJECT!!!! The students have a passport that they need to take with them as they visit 10 Latin American countries searching for information. They can use the internet, their geography books, and they must use 2 library books for information. NEATNESS and CORRECT SPELLING count as does the over appearance of the project. Please ask your child to explain to you what they are to do. Due DEC. 1st.

Science

Now that we know all about cells we are going to study The World of Protists. Just what are these tiny little organisms and how are they important to the food chain? Do they carry diseases? What are fungi and why does the bread in my cupboard always seem to get moldy so quickly?

Monday, November 17th...7:00pm PTL presents Internet Safety. This is a great program for all parents whose children use the internet. It is being presented by the Wauwatosa Police Department. Sunday, November 23rd....Consecration Sunday!!!! Are you planning to attend? Have you responded to the invitation for brunch following services?? God has richly blessed all of us, please consider how you can return some of these blessings to God.
