Greetings! I am sending this out to all of those interested in the class mascot project. If you have your mascot going home with each student by now we should be right on target. I will begin sending mine home with students this week.
If EVERYONE could get TRACKING and INSURANCE on these packages, we will experience less losses of the mascots. Thank you for adding these to the shipping totals.
Print this out and keep a hard copy of it in your lesson plan book! That is what I do and I even write the send off dates in my lesson plans so I remember them!!
The dates we will be sending the mascots to new schools is as follows:
October 10
December 10
February 10
April 10
The addresses for the classrooms involved in this group are:

Elise will always send to Alaine.
Alaine will always send to Charlotte.
Charlotte will always send to Laura.
Laura will always send to Elise.
Beginning with the October send off and continuing through to April, if we send to the same person, whatever mascot we have then we shall have rotated through them all.
Remember it goes this way: In October Denise will send Bob the Bratwurst to Janelle. Then Bob will visit with all of her students. Then December's send off takes Bob from Janelle's school and puts Bob in Lisa's school for visits with her students. In February Lisa would send Bob to Amy. Amy's students visit with Bob and then in April send him off to Denise's school, where he will be back home!
If this doesn't make sense, email Denise and things will get straightened out.
Thank you for participating in this wonderful project. Have some fun with it and ask me anything you don't get with this.
Let's keep the dates really firm. I hope this schedule allows for you to get the mascots through your class. Some years, I have had to cut the visit (miss a few children's homes) short in order to send off on the dates. I had a couple of students who "forgot" or "lost" the mascot and needed time to locate the mascot again. It made me reconsider sending the next mascot home with the irresponsible ones in my class.
Have a blessed week!
