Please join us in Uncovering the True Meaning of Christmas as we present "The First Leon" this coming Wednesday, December 10^th, at 6:30 PM. All 3rd - 5th grade students are asked to meet in their classrooms at 6:15. We hope you will enjoy this Children's Christmas Musical that we have prepared in order to worship HIM during this Advent season. The 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders of Our Redeemer welcomed two area Lutheran Schools to join them in hearing a presentation given by Milwaukee Alderman, Jim Bohl. On Tuesday, October 21^st, Immanuel, Brookfield and St. Peter-Immanuel gathered with us to hear about “The Election Process: How Your Vote Counts.” A few of the questions that Alderman Bohl answered were the following:

ü How old do you need to be to vote?

ü Which group of citizens is most likely to vote?

ü Who can vote?

ü How do you effectively run for office?

ü How is the Federal Government organized?

Did you know…We actually have 51 separate elections for the President!?

I grew up in Albion, Michigan where I attended St. Paul Lutheran Church. After high school I decided to attend Concordia University Wisconsin. I studied elementary education / math and played football at Concordia. After graduating I married Sarah a fellow Concordia grad whom I dated for four years. We recently bought a home in Wauwatosa and the Lord is continuously blessing us both. Now I am one of two fifth grade teachers as well as the assistant youth ministry director at Our Redeemer.
