.
I grew up in Milwaukee and still currently live there. I went to Northwest Lutheran School from kindergarten through 8th grade. Then I attended and graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School. God blessed me with athletic ability in basketball and I was able to receive a basketball scholarship to attend Cardinal Stritch University. I graduated with honors with a degree in Sociology.
I got a job with Wisconsin Youth Company which runs morning and after school programs for Elementary Schools in Waukesha and New Berlin. I worked at Elmwood Elementary for two years discovering my passion for teaching. So I went back to Concordia University to receive my teaching certification. I was so blessed to student teach at ORLS and to receive the 2nd Grade teaching position!!!!
I am very close to my family and spend as much time as possible with them. I have twin older brothers who are my best friends. My parents are very supportive and helped me get to where I am today. I enjoy doing anything active, especially playing basketball. I love to go to Barnes and Noble with my mother and read all the wonderful books. I am a huge fan of the zoo, which is why my mother and I have a zoo pass!
I am having so much fun with my second grade class. They are wonderful students and I couldn’t have asked for a better group! I am so happy to be part of the Our Redeemer Family and know that God knew to put me in this school.
