Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible: Ancient Artifacts, Timeless Treasures
The largest special exhibit ever produced by the Milwaukee Public Museum is here! Witness actual Dead Sea Scrolls and other early Biblical artifacts! A truly unqiue and unforgettable experience awaits you as you walk through a replica Dead Sea cave and enter into the scrollery room that houses many scroll fragments loaned from institutions around the world. In addition to the scrolls, you'll also see other major early texts. Join Our Redeemer members and friends Saturday, April 24th for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Our tour will start at Our Redeemer at 9am at which time Pastor Schroeder will enhance our tour at the museum with an overview of the Dead Sea Scrolls, including his personal experience. Following the presentation, transportation will be provided to the museum for this unforgettable visit. Prices vary depending upon museum membership. Senior non-members (60+) is $24 per person. Mother's of Pre-schoolers (MOPS)
MOPS is an international organization whose goal is to meet the needs of moms who are working hard at meeting the needs of their preschoolers. Membership in MOPS International includes a MOPS magazine, discounts at Christian bookstores and other services.
Our Redeemer's branch of MOPS allows moms to socialize in a Christian atmosphere that includes speakers, crafts, refreshments and child care.

Pasta and Praise
Join the OR 2010 Mission Team for Pasta and Praise, April 17, 2010, an evening of fellowship and worship beginning with a Spaghetti Dinner from 4:30 - 6:00pm followed by a Contemporary Christian concert from 6:30 - 9:00pm, featuring the music of Red Letter Edition. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children under 12 years. All proceeds and donations will benefit this year's mission trip to Nicaragua.
The Hiker Chicks
The last outing for the Hicker Chicks resulted in a great turn out at the Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha. The group enjoyed a brisk, sun filled winter morning of snowshoeing, while experiencing God's beautiful creation. Anyone interested in joining the women's group is welcome to meet on the third Saturday of each month at 8:30am in the Our Redeemer church parking lot. Each month brings a new destination.
