Grandmas In Christ
As Christian women and most especially as grandmothers, we embrace the opportunities to help foster the love of Jesus in the lives of our young ones.
It is our greatest joy to know that our grandchildren are surrounded in prayer and embraced by Jesus’ loving arms. It is our duty to see that they know their Savior.

. . . we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done. Psalm 78:4
BIBLE STUDIES
Our main goal is to share our love for JESUS with our Grandchildren and hopefully their parents and friends by our example. You know that children notice EVERYTHING!! So our efforts of Fellowship, Bible Study, and Service to our Lord & our Church are very important.

Baking: In only six months Grandmas In Christ gave $800+ to special mission efforts. The funds were earned mostly from BAKE SALES --would you believe it!! We're not just a bunch of "crazy" fun-loving grandmothers.
Crafting:
one of our favorite endeavors is to help the youngest students at ORLS to purchase special gifts for their family members. In order to prepare for tables full of gift items for the Christmas Treasures Sale, we must get busy with our favorite craft projects. We will meet at church at 6:30PM in the cafeteria to work together on something we bring along or on a group project.
Knit One –Pray Two:
on the First Wednesday of each month we get together to knit, crochet or work on some kind of project that’s portable! We enjoy a short devotion and lots of joyful fellowship. This year we would like to concentrate on hats & blankets for orphan children in China. If knitting/crochet is not your thing, perhaps you could donate a skein or two of yarn. One skein of worsted yarn (not wool) can make 2 hats! Please call Karen Detvan at 414-258-4535.
