Church

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and School exists to glorify our Triune God and to extend the Kingdom of our Savior, Jesus Christ, in all that we do, by faithfully sharing God’s inspired Word and Holy Sacraments.

It is God’s will that Christians unite in worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship. Therefore, we conduct worship services in a variety of formats, provide Bible study opportunities for all ages, and offer prayer groups and fellowship events. We consider our Christian day school to be an important outreach tool to the community by providing a quality Christian education for children from three years old through 8th grade. We invite you to visit our campus and get to know us.

Our Redeemer Lutheran School

Our Redeemer One of Five U.S. Schools Awarded Exemplary Status;
Will Model "Best Practices" for Other Schools

Our Redeemer Lutheran School has achieved Exemplary Status for the 2010-2011 academic year, one of just five schools nationally to earn this recogniation from the National Lutheran School Accrediatation (NLSA) Commission. (click here to see us on Fox 6 news WISN)

The NLSA Team concluded that Our Redeemer exceeded the national standards for Exemplary School Status :

  • Christ-centered and service driven
  • Document an outstanding record of student preparation and academic success
  • Perceived positively in their community
  • Serving satisfied stakeholders
  • Demonstrate innovative leadership through specific "best practices"

Our Redeemer joined two schools in California and one each in Indiana and North Carolina in achieving Exemplary Status.  These five schools will be asked to share their "best practices" with other schools throughout the U.S.

Our Redeemer Lutheran congregation operates a Christian day school which is open to both member and non-member children. The school provides an excellent pre-school through Grade 8 education as well a quality child care program. Before- and after-school child care programs are also available.

The school’s teaching staff has been publicly recognized for its excellence. High academic standards, quality extra-curricular activities, a strong partnership between parents and teachers, and a safe and caring atmosphere reinforce the Christian beliefs and values of the families we serve.

We invite you and your family to visit our school to learn more about us.  Contact us at 414-258-4558 to schedule a visit.
